REQUIREMENTS AND DOCUMENTATION NEED TO APPLY FOR

SENIOR PASTOR OPENING

​

1. Applicant must provide a copy of their Master of Divinity Degree or its equivalent, (From an accredited college/seminary).

2. Applicant must provide documentation of three years of experience as a Senior Pastor or its equivalent.

3. Applicant must provide a copy of an Ordination Certification from a Baptist Church or State Baptist Association.

4. Applicant must provide three letters of recommendation/reference from various church leaders (Senior Pastor, State Association).

5. Applicant must provide a 500-word essay on how they meet these requirements, and why they think this church would be a good fit for them, and how their vision might be accomplished at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

*Top candidates will be required to complete interviews and given the opportunity to preach in our Sunday Morning Worship Services.  If selected, a criminal background check will be done thru SLED, (South Carolina Enforcement Division). We will aslo do a credit check, not to determine your score, but to make an assessment as to your ability to be a good steward in overseeing the house of God. (1 Timothy 3:1-7) *.
